How to Post to TikTok

This article explains the steps to post to TikTok and the limitations of this platform.
You can now publish videos to TikTok on our platform. The process is a bit different and there are some limitations due to API restrictions they impose on all 3rd party tools. Here is the process to post to TikTok:
  1. Upload your video (see below for video restrictions)
  1. Select the TikTok account(s) you wish to publish to
  1. Write your message. You can customize the message that will be used as your TikTok caption by editing the message in the preview area on the right.
  1. Add hashtags using the hashtag group feature. Be sure you've loaded up the TikTok column with hashtags by editing your hashtag groups. (optional)
  1. Post or schedule the video as usual.
  1. When the scheduled time comes along, we send the video to TikTok. They will immediately notify you within the official TikTok app that the video has been uploaded and is ready to post.
  1. Open the email we sent you at the same time it is time to post the video. Copy the caption from the email into your phone's clipboard.
  1. Either click on the TikTok notification on your phone, or open the TikTok app and go to the inbox. There you will see a link to the video that Campaign Share has uploaded (that is our social sharing app)
  1. Paste the caption into the caption field and modify the video as desired.
  1. Publish

𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲! (2023) You can now post 10-minute videos to TikTok! Most accounts will be asked to trim the video to 3 minutes long within the TikTok app, but some creators have permission to post 10-minute videos. Please check your TikTok account for your limits. Also, the file size can be up to 600MB now. This is all possible because we switched to the new TikTok API. Soon, they will be allowing you to post directly to TikTok without going to their mobile app to finish the process. We'll open this up as soon as it is available to us.
